What Aldersgate Means to Me...

Church is family. Church is shelter. Church is home. Church is a place in a building. Church is a place in your heart where Christ enters in and His love overflows. Enjoy these profiles of some of our members as they reflect on the question: What Aldersgate Means to me.

Summer Internship--Would you like to spend your summer helping youth?  We are looking for a summer intern to help with our weekly youth program.  You must be 21 and able to work 10 hours a week.  The pay is good, and the rewards are eternal!  Contact Pastor Shelly at shelly@aldersgateumc-ks.org for more information.

2008 Relay for Life
July 11 - 12th
Members of your Aldersgate family will be participating in the 2008 Relay for Life to support the American Cancer Society. The event will be held from 6:00pm - 6:00am on July 11th-12th at the Wheatridge Middle School in Gardner. Cancer has changed too many lives of the members of Aldersgate and their friends and families to ignore. Please help however you can. We are looking to raise $5,000 this year and for walkers to help us keep one team member on the track at all times. Contact Sean Yearout at (913) 424-0784 for more information or visit http://main.acsevents.org/goto/aldersgate to join the team or make an online donation.
