Aldersgate youth and adult volunteers traveled to Kentucky to work on Henderson Settlement, a United Methodist-affiliated organization whose purpose is to meet the basic human needs of people in southeast Kentucky and northeast Tennessee.
Aldersgate volunteers worked to share God’s love in Appalachia.
All volunteers are asked to accomplish three things daily:
- Meet physical needs (do the job they are asked to do)
- Meet spiritual needs (offer to pray with the people the volunteers are helping)
- Meet social needs (spend time talking with the people the volunteers are helping)
Thank you for praying for the students and the adults who will be part of the team.
