Aldersgate’s annual Trunk or Treat Event will be 4:00-6:00PM Saturday, Oct. 28. We’re planning to have 20 spots for cars and seven activity booths. Activities will include a pumpkin toss, ghost bowling, sticky spider web, popcorn race, balance beam, witch broom limbo, and sensory seek and find. We’ll also have a face-painting station, and lots more fun and surprises. Here are ways you can help:
- Volunteer to help with check in, with each activity station, as well as with set-up and directing traffic and people. Please sign up on the clipboard in the Commons or click here.
- Register your decorated car trunk. Sign up on the clipboard in the Commons or click here.
- Donate individually wrapped, peanut-free candy by placing it in the marked container in the donations center at the east end of the Commons before Sunday, Oct. 22. Examples of peanut-free candy include plain Hershey chocolate bars and Kisses, Sweet Tarts, Dum Dum lollipops, Jolly Ranchers, Tootsie Pops and Tootsie Rolls.
- Donate trinkets for children such as small toys, stickers, pencils, etc. Place them in the marked container in the donations center at the east end of the Commons before Sunday, Oct. 22.
Please help to make this a successful outreach event that’s also fun for all ages!
