SPECIAL MUSIC

Aldersgate is blessed with two bell choirs -- The Joyful Ringers, composed of adult ringers, and the Youth Bell Choir comprised of youths, grades 6 - 12.
Services held the last Sunday of Advent, December 21, will include the performance of 'Little Drummer Boy' by The Joyful Ringers.
We hope that the wonderful music created by the bell choirs will add to your Advent season as you prepare to celebrate Christ's birth.
CHRISTMAS EVE CELEBRATION

Birthday Party for Jesus - Christmas Eve - Children will participate in the Family Christmas Eve Service from 5:30 - 6:00 and will then follow Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus out to celebrate! We will open baby gifts to be given to a local women's shelter, hear a story and play birthday games until the service is over at 6:00.
Family Christmas Worship, 5:30pm (especially for younger children) The angels announced the birth of Jesus with praise and singing, and we shall share the news with the same excitement. We will have our own “kid-friendly” candlelight service to share in this special, holy night.
Family Christmas Worship, 7:00pm--With all the traditional elements of Christmas Eve, this service will have aspects that appeal to all ages. Join in the singing of wonderful carols. Hear the familiar scriptures. Reflect through the presentation or special music. And most importantly re-imagine the joy-filled and awesome story of the birth of our Lord Jesus. Candles and glow sticks will help us take the light of Christ into our world, filled anew with wonder of Emmanuel - Christ with us! (Childcare will be provided.)
Candlelight Communion Service, 11:00pm--Communion, Candlelight, and Christ--these are a perfect combination to remember the birth of Jesus. The adult choir will lead worship with carols of the season, the proclamation of the Word through readings of the Old and New Testament, Holy Communion, and candlelight are the hallmarks of this special celebration. (No childcare will be provided at this service.)
Sunday, December 28--Join us as we worship together with communion and take part in the Wesley Covenant Service. A chance to reflection upon our relationship with God in the past and to look to the future to deepen our relationship in the new year.
